Mistika Clay Co. was an online jewelry business focused on handcrafted polymer clay earrings.
Mistika Clay Co. was a creative ecommerce brand I launched in 2023 focused on handcrafted polymer clay earrings. I originally started the brand as a way to gain hands-on experience in social media, content creation, ecommerce in the US while building a business entirely from scratch.
In less than a year, the brand grew to over 1,300 Instagram followers and generated 400+ online sales through Etsy, driven primarily through organic content, short-form video, and visual storytelling.
A major highlight of the project was the launch of a Whidbey Island–inspired collection that was later carried in multiple retail stores across Washington State, and other store across the US included the Catalina Museum for Art & History gift shop.
The collection eventually led to an invitation from NOAA Fisheries to showcase and sell the collection during the 2023 Annual Meeting of NOAA Fisheries (PICES) in Seattle alongside ocean-inspired artists and marine scientists from around the world.
The project combined entrepreneurship, ecommerce marketing, creative storytelling, and audience building while giving me firsthand experience developing and growing a digital brand from the ground up.
